A year as the group's head of data engineering.

Model Group makes solid and corrugated board packaging across sites in Switzerland, Germany and Czechia. In an advisory role I assessed the Qlik services already in place, set best practice for Qlik development, managed the third-party suppliers, researched new Qlik and data technology, and mentored the in-house Qlik team.

Finding why a reload ate all the RAM.

Far-future end dates (one ran to the year 2241) made IntervalMatch explode the interval table. Fixed at source, and self-joins replaced with a single pass.
